"A stop en route to Austria. a bit of confusion as philipsburg is another town and there was a road closure due to an accident. Well appointed and a healthy evening meal and breakfast. We will return!"

"It's the almost perfect hotel for us. Gentle stroll into the town. Small, family run, plain tasteful decor, high quality linen. It almost seems churlish to make any criticism. It's a while since we have been but it's good to see everything is as we remembered it . Above all there are no pets "

"Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer und Personal, man fühlte sich wohl und willkommen. Das Hotel an sich ist sehr gemütlich, der Biergarten phänomenal und die Küche inkl. Frühstück sehr lecker. Einzig der Außenbereich um das Hotel herum könnte etwas mehr Zuwendung gebrauchen, was aber zum Teil auch den noch laufenden Renovierungsarbeiten geschuldet sein kann. "Quaint hotel with a nice breakfast included. Rooms are spacious with a fan, which is nice during the warmer months. Easy drive to Speyer cathedral. Available grocery stores. Heidelberg only 1/2 hour away. Several restaurants within walking distance. "

"Great location, breakfast was very good. Great traditional German food nearby. Only downside is when traveling by train, it is a pretty long hike to hotel when you have a lot of heavy bags."
