"This hotel is pretty basic, but functional. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small and the tub had several places where the finish had been chipped away, but it wasn't a safety or cleaning issue. The hotel allows pets so I was greeted by the barking dog upstairs, but he soon calmed down and the place was reasonably quiet.
The highlight was the breakfast. Waffle maker and pancake maker have become sort of standard, but I appreciated the cups of fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, as well as trail mix"
"For a motel, this place is quite nice (4-5 stars). Compared to hotels in this price range it is a 3. Rooms are drive-up, exterior entry with no elevators. Pool is in detached building, which also houses breakfast area. Rooms were fairly clean but somewhat dated. What this property has going for it that others don’t is the fact it’s run/operated by a family … they take pride in their business and are very hospitable. We loved that aspect of our stay."
"Very clean quiet room..bed was very comfy! Easy to get to from Interstate highway. Gas station right next to it. Restaurants very close. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juices, pancakes, wafflesand hot and cold cereals"
"The staff here is efficient and friendly. All things are in working condition. While this hotel has some obvious age on it as does the furnishings and linens the units provide a comfortable and serviceable stay. The included breakfast has many options which should meet most guests pallet. There are dining establishments close by as well as gas stations it is right off the interstate."
"No one at the hotel, AT ALL, office doors locked, lights out, no instructions, phone number, nothing. Called the hotel number listed online, no answer, no voicemail. Out of desperation we called the other hotel at this exit to see if they had a room, they didn't. In conversation, they said "oh we own that hotel too, you can check in over here" (across the highway). Same deal with icemaker and breakfast, "you can come across the highway to get ice and breakfast." We'll never get off at the Kadoka exit again..."
