"Good location, nice room and excellent breakfast."

"It’s zero star! TERRIBLE PLACE! We stayed at The Metropolitan Inn in Salt Lake City, Utah, and it was absolutely terrible. Honestly, it was one of the worst places we’ve ever seen. The room was extremely dirty and run-down. The bathroom sink was clogged, and there was a bunch of hair coming up from the drain, which was really disgusting. The door was broken, and almost every corner of the room and doors were dirty and damaged. The bedsheets had stains and clearly weren’t clean. The overall property was just as bad. The entrance and surrounding area were dirty and full of very odd and stranp people, and it definitely did not feel safe or family-friendly at all. We checked in, went to the room, and within 30 minutes decided to leave because it was completely unacceptable. Honestly, sleeping in the car would have been better than staying there. Would not recommend this place to anyone."

"We got to the hotel 10 minutes before checkin time and the room wasn’t ready, but they said it was in its final check. I checked again with the front desk 15 minutes later and it was still not ready. We sat in the lobby for another 30 minutes. There was only one person at the desk with a consistent line of multiple people for the entire time we were there. Seems weird for checkin time on a Saturday. The guy that was at the desk the second time we checked apologized for the wait and upgraded our room for no extra charge which was much appreciated since we didn’t have much more time we could wait. The lobby has a lot of seating for nothing to do (no bar or restaurant)… some drinks available would have been nice. Other than that first impression, the rest of the stay was nice. Everything was clean and the room was comfortable "

"This is a charming good located in is old well keep have in mind that the place has not many amenities no access to coffee or anything from 7pm to 9 I stay there while working at the convention center long hrs my third day I have no coffee because it was only 2 coffee bags in the room for my entire stay they have coffe in hangout room and water in gym but that is close with no access after 7 pm "

"Everything was great for the property. Super friendly staff. Rooms were clean and nicely sized for my adult son and I. Only bummer was that the outdoor pool was closed still for the season."

"Property was clean, safe with excellent customer service. Easy walk to Capitol State building and Temple square, shopping and eating. There is a dress code of business casual to eat in dining room which is not listed on Expedia site. Parking is safe. Could have used better sleeping pillows. "

"Everyone was very helpful and responsive with questions. The room was as advertised and was very clean and comfortable. Parking was easy to access as well."
