"Staff was excellent! From the front desk, to the two restaurants. Professional & friendly! Parking was on-site and easy, although I don't think guests should pay for parking. Very disappointed in the room service. We went 2+ days without towels, t-paper, and trash cans that were overflowing. We had to call the front desk to get this fixed. Overall though, we'd try this again. "

"The photos on this hotel are far from accurate. Our room was very uninviting, no chair or side table. The shower was COVERED in long hair as well as the corners of the bathroom. There was no body wash in the dispenser. The continental breakfast was not cooked, raw eggs and waffle batter sat on the counter at room temperature. The lobby and elevator floors were filthy, not just unmopped but unswept as well. There were scuff/dirt marks on the walls in the lobby, elevator, hallway, and rooms. The positive was there weren’t any bugs, at least not that we saw. This hotel definitely needs a good scrub down and a fresh coat of paint from ceiling to floor and quite possibly a new cleaning crew or retraining."

"When I first got to the Hotel I was skeptical. To be very honest I thought we would be out of place and would not enjoy our stay. However, after we got settled in our room, we felt very comfortable. The rooms were clean and the sound was quiet and private, comparable to other hotels. We decided to go down to the lounge and pool for a night cap, and the atmosphere was welcoming and the waitresses were kind and helped us with kindness. Through the night, our beds and pillows were very comfortable. I slept very good and the shower was clean and had great water pressure. The next evening we stayed at the Hilton, as this was just an extra night we didn’t plan on at the Lux. The Lux completely out shined the Hilton. I would definitely stay here again. Wonderful evening."
