"The unit we have is nice, clean and spacious. The mattress is firm and comfortable. The sheets and towels are of good quality and very clean. Convenient parking outside the unit. Smiling and helpful staff. Will choose this motel again if coming here. :-)"
"Lovely clean room with a comfortable bed. Close to main shopping centre and just across the from the Armidale Bowls Club which is handy for a good meal and a drink."
"A very tastefully renovated in Art Deco style small hotel, centrally located within the town. A great restaurant with good choices and friendly staff. Breakfast was not included in room rate but very reasonably priced. Parking at rear of hotel is limited but council car park is directly across the lane and plentiful. Happy to recommend and will stay there again."
"Absolutely fantastic experience at Country Comfort Armidale. As someone who spends most nights of the year in hotel rooms, I can confidently say this place is right up there with the best.
From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive, making the whole stay effortless. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing exactly what you need after a long day on the road.
To me, it’s the little things that matter. Good quality, soft towels, good quality bathroom soaps and shampoos, good quality coffee and tea and most importantly, cookies! Loved them 👌
It’s refreshing to find a place that consistently delivers such a high standard of service and comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Country Comfort Armidale to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m driving through town."
"A large comfortable room with queen bed and a lounge. Parking outside the room with large parking bays.
Easy check-in. All staff were friendly.
I would stay there again.
It is on a steep hill, which could be a negative if you have mobility issues.
The room door was a bit 'sticky' and needed an extra push to get open and shut."
