Iona Holiday Rentals

"We arrived and the reception area was locked . There was a note on the door to ring and then they attended via car .I was asked my name on the driveway my name and told key in the room . We left this morning . Again no contact door locked again and left key in drop box . I don’t find this as customer service . I wondered what would happen if there had to be an evacuation or and emergency . The room was clean however our room with a queen and single bed had one pillow each . Unusual this day and age as you normally have extras . The bedside lamp had been purchased at an op shop and I noticed that electrical items had no inspection tags . The kettle does not fit under the tap to be able to fill it. As the night was hot we had pushed the doona onto floor where we observed that it was stained . This was the first time we had stayed here in years . I can honestly say that we won’t be back . Customer service begins at the first interaction which this place clearly doesn’t have . "

"We paid a bit extra for a luxury suite but it was worthwhile. Loved the super comfortable king size bed and huge bathroom with double basins and bath tub. Kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle was also handy. Negatives were the artificial room freshener which was overpowering and unpleasant. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was also closed for renovation. "

"Had such a lovely stay at Vivere Retreat. The accommodation was incredibly cozy and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. One of the highlights was even spotting a deer nearby — such a beautiful and calming experience. Would definitely love to come back!"

"The room was spotless, the staff were very approachable and friendly. I’ve stayed here before, many years ago, was disappointed the pool is now filled in . I could smell cigarettes smell , not sure where it was coming from as it wasn’t the immediate neighbouring rooms , and there were pesky little ants , but not in any food , just surface crawling All in all it was a pleasant stay, easy ti find and easy access to the town centre "
