"The advert on the hotels.com website did not match the facts of the stay. The advert states free parking it was not it cost me £30 for the stay. We spoke to the owner who stated that the advert was not placed by him. It was the fault of hotels.com as he does not use them you get your info from a 3rd party All I know is that I am £30 out of pocket. The stay was good as I can not blame hotels.com for all the rain."

"We had a wonderful stay at Ash lodge. The lodge was very clean and we got to enjoy lots of beautiful sunsets and make use of the fantastic pool. It was like a home away from home, but even more comfortable and peaceful. We loved to see the chickens and cows and being treated to aunties home made cupcakes upon arrival was just what we needed. "We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."
