"Very nice hotel. It is far up on the hillside with a view overlooking the harbor. This can make it a challenge if you are arriving in the ferry, since the walk up to the hotel from the ferry terminal can be long and arduous, with many flights of stairs. We arrived fro Naples airport via a transfer service and thus were spared this issue. When we left for Capri on the ferry, the hotel arranged a porter service to deliver our luggage to the ferry terminal, while we took the bus. One of the advantages of this hotel is that there is a bus stop steps from the front door. Busses are the best way to navigate Positano unless you’re prepared to climb hundreds of steps between the hotel and the sea. The busses depart the hotel at quarter past and quarter till the hour, and circulate in a large loop through the town’s only one way street go vehicular traffic. They are clean and easy to navigate. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, the decor is interesting. The owner’s wife is an artist, and it shows both in the decor of the hotel itself and in the artworks gracing its walls. A wonderful place to stay!"
