"The property was very clean and we appreciated a slightly early check in. Great location next to Lighthouse Pub that has excellent food in walking distance. Sadly those were the only redeeming qualities we found and glad we were only there 1 night. We chose this place based on great reviews and maybe mine is brutally honest because I am sleep deprived but this is my experience up until we left there this morning at 5 AM after a noisy night and little sleep but we did make the first ferry to Horseshoe Bay so that was a bonus I guess. Avoid room 17 that is next to stairs, foot traffic and door that automatically closes loudly....A LOT!!!!The smoking picnic table is right below the window so we listened to talking and laughing until after midnight. Traffic noises were also loud, which was surprising because the street was a dead end. I recommend booking an ocean view but did not see a King bed with ocean view so chose the garden view. We did not see an ice machine or ice bucket and fridge freezer had an ice cube tray that would have taken forever to freeze 12 small ice cubes. Watch the waterfall faucet in the bathroom, the water shoots across the sink and hits you in the groin if you turn it on more than a little. The Expedia photo of the king garden room showed a walk in shower but we were disappointed it was a shallow bathtub. I should have brought issues to management but we left before the office opened and yes I did send them a message with concerns once I got home.."

"Our second visit and this time we brought our Australian friends for our stay. Immaculately clean unit. We had two minor issues which were immediately addressed by the staff. Very relaxing four days topped off by a delicious dinner at the resort’s Lagoon Restaurant."

Rockwater Secret Cove Resort

"Very difficult access to the room. There was no room number on the room door. We found a used bandage at the foot of the bed which was unsanitary and unsettling for us to have our toddler playing in the room. Toilet was not bolted down properly and would rock back and forth. Nowhere to hang a towel near the shower. Cleaning staff did not provide toilet paper after it was specifically requested. Staff did not provide a crib despite calling in advance AND two friendly reminders after arrival. It was disappointing to be in such a naturally beautiful environment with such poor hotel conditions."

"The perfect place for a weekend getaway! Lili and Rio are the kindest hosts, we had such a great time getting to know them during our stay here. The space itself is also wonderful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have lots of natural light. They also have two beautiful dogs that are so friendly and loving. We truly felt so at home during our stay. Lili cooks an amazing breakfast every morning and the breakfast room overlooks the inlet. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend anyone visiting Sechelt to book here, we will definitely be returning whenever we get the chance."
