"It was a little hard to find because the rooms are in a back alley way, up several steps where we eventually saw a dign, but the place was really nice with heated floors which were welcome on a cold day. The gal who showed us around was really sweet and very responsive. I'll for sure stay again if ever in the area! "

We’ve traveled the entire country and seen the most amazing places but the Ambelona Retreat is in its a class of its own. "This was a lovely stay. It is basically a family’s house where they have built and independent construction with two short term rentals behind it. It is a small town experience. We stayed two nights to see Ancient Messenia and go on an olive oil tour. Had a really fun dinner with the locals in the plaza one night. We had some trouble with the WiFi the last morning. But I think it was a temporary thing."

"A wonderful stay with the delightful Costas and Irida. An authentic Greek resort a few minutes walk along the sea front from the local village with many restaurants. Costas has a great knowledge of the historical sites to visit in the Peloponnese and will help in any way he can."
