Very friendly staff, pleasantly surprised as pictures on website don’t do it justice. Room spacious but basic. Half board good value, nice food although small amount of choices. Breakfast room lovely and good choices. Walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The hotel is in need of refurbishment and doesn't warrant a 4 star rating as there is nothing special about it. The breakfast was ok, but again there was nothing special about it. There was one choice of cheese and it was the processed 'plastic' type which is not what we expected in Italy. The breads tasted of nothing and the toaster doesn't work unless you want melba toast after a 5 minute wait as the bread was so thin. Plenty of choice of croissants, cake and salad if that's what you like for breakfast. It said there was a shuttle bus to the beach, but this isn't true. We ate dinner on the first night but it was in an uninspiring room and the moment you finished the course, the next one was there in seconds and the food was mediocre. The beach we were told to use is a good 20 minute walk away and comprises of a thin strip of sand and regimented rows of sunbeds, consequently we went once for about 10 minutes, very disappointing. The saving grace of this hotel is the staff

Great stay very friendly and helpful staff walking distance between Porto and pointe perfect in the middle of both plenty of dining options pool and spa staff were very friendly and helpful didn’t miss anything was worried because a lot of reviews were misleading but they were not at all. Loved our stay would definitely recommend

Si quieres descansar y dormir este no es el lugar adecuado, hay ruidos y gritos del personal del hotel desde las 8 de la mañana. Se oye todo. El hotel necesita bastantes renovaciones. El personal es amable pero haciendo balance no es un lugar al que volvería y no lo recomiendo.

Superbe sĂ©jour Ă  l'hĂŽtel San Giovanni. L'emplacement est idĂ©al, au centre ville d'Ischia, proche du port et nombreux restaurants et plages. L'hĂŽtel est de bonne qualitĂ©, la piscine et le jardin sont trĂšs agrĂ©ables. Le personnel de l'hĂŽtel a Ă©tĂ© extrĂȘmement sympathique et nous a donnĂ© de trĂšs bons conseils (visites, restaurants). Nous recommandons vivement cet Ă©tablissement !
