"Just spent 10 days at the Riu Vallarta, my second visit to this resort …loved it as much the second time. Nothing negative to say about the staff or the overall resort as a whole.
We did arrive with 24 persons in our party, all stayed at The Riu Vallarta, as we got married at Karen’s Place Restaurant on March 8th…was disappointed that we actually had to PAY FOR AN UPGRADE to our room, it was not offered complimentary as a thank you for bringing so many guests with us. "

"We loved our stay here and would come again. We so appreciated overlooking the beach in a relatively quiet neighborhood, where we could easily walk to a few spots, and take a short taxi ride to town. Our suite and the property pics were just as advertised. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the veranda outside our room. Staff was nice and helpful, and tolerated my rudimentary Spanish. Restaurant on site was good for a couple meals. "

"Pictures online are exactly what the hotel looks like. Fantastic views from the junior oceanciew suite. Pool was so nice and easy access to the beach. Loved everything about the Itare and we'll definitely be back! "

"Great hotel in the middle of town. Rooftop bar and pool were fantastic although pool water was cloudy. I would go back and recommend but be warned that you can hear music from the clubs until 5am in your room on the weekends. As soon as you book and pay, they send a warning about the noise. "
