"The room was comfortable/tastefully decorated. Their website stated that breakfast was provided. In checking in, I was told that they are no longer providing breakfast. The ice machine is not working but if you ask, a bag of ice will be provided.
The cleanliness could be improved. I wiped a spill off from the bathroom floor and the tissue was black. There were also black areas on the edges of the shower curtain as if a mechanic with greasy hands had handled it. I wiped off a spot of dried blood from the wall where the toilet paper was hanging. The property could certainly use some TLC. I'm thankful to have been able to stay there seeing that everything in Ladysmith was booked up."

What are holiday rentals like in Island Lake?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Island Lake. Holiday rentals offer extras such as hot tubs, fire pits and patios so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of privacy away from shared hotel lifts and busy reception areas while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also get more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which makes a holiday rental a popular choice for a family getaway.
