"Atenas is right near the beach so food and activities are all super walkable. All my staff interactions (check in, check out, and buying a late night bottle of water) were easy and polite despite the language barrier. I got a private room and bath — which were clean and in good condition, it was honestly one of the best showers I’ve ever had at a backpacker hostel. Only issue and it was minor, was the internet was a bit spotty. Overall this was excellent for the price!"

The property is stunning, with elegant design, lush grounds, and a serene coastal setting that makes you instantly unwind. Our room was immaculate and beautifully appointed, with incredibly comfortable beds, great amenities, and everything you’d want for a perfect stay. The on-site restaurant is a standout — so much so that we ate there more than once. And here’s the big claim: it wins our “Best Ceviche” award after two months of eating our way through Peru. Fresh, vibrant, and absolutely unforgettable. The only small drawback was that service in the restaurant could occasionally be a bit slow, but the quality of the food and the setting more than made up for it."
