We had a fantastic time. Staying in the Villas was the way to go. Huge condo for my family plus still had all the resort amenities. We rented bikes for the trip so it was easy to get around and we could be on the beach in minutes. Will definitely be coming back.

Everything in our beachfront condo was very good. It was very comfortable and everything g worked well. The kitchen floor could have used a serious cleaning. Overall very nice place. The view was exceptional. We would definitely go back

My daughter and I had an excellent day once we got to our room. The people at the gate could not seem to get me the correct directions or location to where I was staying the first two times. The attention at the guard gates, to detail, is lacking. It took us four trips to get the right location to our room and the correct code to enter.

We went here for our first time for a family vacation, there were four adults and two teen girls. We stayed in an ocean front condo, the unit was very clean and inviting. The pool was right outside our door and the ocean right beyond the pool. The free shuttle was really nice especially for our teen girls so they could go from place to place on the resort. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. One issue were the beach towels, they are to be returned daily but by not staying in the main resort area this was inconvenient, so we requested to keep our towels for our entire stay without being charged the daily fee for not returning and they allowed that by placing a note on our reservation. We will return to vacation here again. We did not eat at any of the restaurants onsite other than the pizza shop which was good.

Lovely Condo!

Our condo unit in particular (7 Racquetclub) was perfect. We loved everything about it. It was on a small canal, an easy walk to the pool, and a bit longer walk to the beach. The house we very well equipped, the beds very comfortable, and surroundings absolutely lovely. There were some challenges that were particular to the resort: you will want a bike or golf cart to get around if you plan to spend time at the beach. You will also want to get the wrist bands (I believe you can get those at the burger bar at the main pool) so you can use all of the pools. Food and convenience store items are very expensive on the resort property, but there is a great little store at the Marina and further in town, and you can use door dash if you want to! We were glad about that, and saved a few bucks that way. We would definitely go back!

The Wild Dunes resort hotels were beautiful. Customer service was excellent. The condo pool was clean and well kept. When booking it was not made clear how far the rentals were from the resort. Also Summer House 408 just okay for the price. Some of the appliances were ancient, VHS tapes….need I say more. Enough toiletries for only one day for a week long rental. No beach towels. Chipped old front door does not give a good first impression. Will go back to Wild Dunes for sure, but not Summerhouse 408.

I probably wouldnt use again but at same time Im not thumbing down this place. It was not what was advertised. We were put in a unit seperate from the main property building where the pools are. It is a nice place, no complaints about the resort but would have liked to known better the room situation they placed us in. I booked this resort based on what picture information I seen. There is a target and many restaurants within twenty minute drive. I did not have a good experience at one of the property restaurants so would not recommend those. There is also a Harris Teeter grocery store five min away. If your a walker/runner it is a nice place for that. Overall property was clean, especially at the main property and thats always top priority.

Family stay at Wild Dunes Resort

The location of our unit was amazing! Right off the water with a perfect view of the ocean. The unit itself was a bit out dated and some of the windows didnt work to open. For the price point that was disappointing. The deck can comfortably sit 4 people with a view that is facing the ocean. The resort itself looked like it would be fun during the normal tourist season with lots of things to do. Be prepared to pay though because not being a "Member" of the community they charge you for everything. We had to pay over $60 to use the pickle ball court with no one else on any courts. That was at a discount too, they said it would usually be $80. That seems a little excessive if your already paying to stay on the property. The resort had a few restaurants and ahops on site but most were closed off season. They as well come with a price tag a normal egg and meat breakfast will run you over $20 a person and that's the starting point. There was a coffee shop and little store that was open. Prices were a little inflated but not to bad for being within walking distance. Coffee will run you about the same as a Starbucks. All said it was a really good experience for our first visit to Charleston but may look for a place that has a smaller price tag bang isint quite worth the buck in my opinion.
