Very good Inn
Nice friendly check in, room was lovely with a nice view to mallaig. Food was excellent and reasonably priced as was the wine and lager ( a pint for less than £4 😁). The staff at dinner and breakfast were nice and polite and done their job very well. Thank you to all the team who made our stay relaxing.

Great stay
From check in to check out 10/10 Spotlessly clean. Lovely view if you have room at front. Staff lovely professional and helpful. Beds comfortable. We had dinner at hotel. No complaints. Ideal if you are catching ferry.

Staff not overly helpful
Staff was hidden behind desk far behind front check in. Barely knew they were there. We arrived on foot and asked about local things to do. Staff not helpful. No offers of tour info, where to go using a cab, overall not super friendly. Views were amazing. Room was very nice and roomy.

Great place!
It's was fantastic. Great location, staff was super friendly! Room was warm and comfy with an ocean view. The food in the restaurant was very good and breakfast was fantastic.

A super little hotel
Wow, this is a little gem of a hotel. Our room was spacious, recently renovated, very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. A special shout out to the duty manager and the barman who were doing a great job despite the hotel being understaffed. The standard of food was also impressive both at dinner and breakfast. Really wished I had booked a longer stay.

Lovely accommodation
A fantastic stay . We had an impressive room with a stunning view. Very clean, and very friendly staff I highly recommend. The location to explore the island is the only negative point. Close to the ferry, but a bit far from all the attractions .

This hotel was amazing we loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing too. It was the best 3 nights sleep I've had in years!

Comfortable room with great views
Small, traditional inn a quiet rural setting with fantastic views of the coast. Room was well-appointed and bed was comfortable. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was delicious. Quite an expensive place to stay although very enjoyable.

Great stay in a beautiful location
Lovely clean big room overlooking the forest. Very comfortable. Ate good meals in the restaurant at night which is dog friendly. Great breakfast choices. We were so busy driving round seeing Skye we didn't hang round much but it was a great base in the south of the island.

Lovely pleasant stay
The Inn is situated right by the sea and has a lovely view. The room with an en-suite was clean. Furniture is slightly older but comfortable. There is a bar and a restaurant on the site with very delicious food and the staff is friendly and very helpful. It was a really pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

Friendly comfortable old Inn in a lovely location with a nice bar/restaurant. Our front facing suite room was very spacious and comfortable with lovely views . Also very handy for access to the ferry at Armadale .

Lovely little Gem

Just about a mile from from Armadale ferry point the hotel is well situated for exploring south Skye . The hotel has lovely views and plenty of parking . The rooms were clean and decoratively were ok but with ugly orange pine furniture . Would be better with one decent chest of drawers and no large dressing table . Bathroom was good . First impressions on walking into reception let the place down as it’s bland and without any warmth or style . We had a good stay and the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was ok. I think overall the place lacked finishing touches . A room for guests with comfy sofas would be welcome . It felt a bit basic for the price.

We appreciate all feed back, However as potential guests look at reviews and go by recent score. We feel this is unmerited as you have rated the area and not the hotel. As many guests are aware Skye can be isolated and a lot of travelling is required to see the island, A lot of our guests do prefer the location giving the fact it is away from packed roads and can be a nice little base for exploring even if we do not have bustling highstreets or entertainment complexes to appeal to the broader range. We wish you safe travels.

Loved staying here! Was really close to the ferry from Mallaig, which was really convenient. There were also lots of nature trails nearby, plus the bar/restaurant downstairs was great!

Superb staff!
The staff was lovely and the food was great. The bed was a bit hard. The water faucet had air bubbles that caused it to spurt. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

Nice small accommodation in Skye
Small inn in a !ovely!ocation- good food and friendly staff however the bar was really noisy and crowded and didnt provide the relaxing spot for drink we'd hopedfor
