The unit was on the second floor, so it was a little bit challenging for me because I have bad knees, but we're very satisfied with the place. It's not too far from Acadia National Park. "The room, bathroom, and balcony were spotless. The bed was very comfortable. They had a bathtub mat, too, which I usually ask for but hadn't. On Thursday the town Farmers Market was right in front. Very convenient to all the towns on Mt Desert Island, but on the quiet side. Front desk folks were very helpful. There's a good gift shop with merch and snacks. The restaurant next door was clean, had good food, and easy to walk to across the driveway, The Nor'Easter. The fridge in the room is pretty big. Not so great: No microwave or coffee pot in your room. Both are in the lobby, which is staffed 24/7."
