"I asked for a high-rise room but did not get one.The room provided was an adjoining room with someone in it.So I got all their noise.I certainly did not ask for that!I have been to this hotel many times but they don't pay attention to guests requests.If I stay there again which I will I will be more demanding."

"We had a Penthouse over two floors with a four poster bed and a jacuzzi. Round the corner from Orange Square but really quiet. There were two televisions provided but neither were tuned in.The Wi Fi did not seem to work.But I did not come to Marbella to watch TV and surf the net!A really great place to stay.Iwant to come back soon!"

Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral Beach

8/10 Good

"Very nice hotel, it eas clean bathroom was good, shower was large and water flow was good. It looks like it is an older well maintained property. The hotel isn't exactly on the beach. There is a street you need to cross as there is another property in front of Iberostar. Once you cross the street you then cross the bike/walk path. Then you are at the beach. Unfortunately for our stay the weather was on the cool side and the ocean was very rough (red flags were in effect). So we really didn't get any swimming in at the beach. We did try to go in partially but the beach was cold and extremely rough. It seemed after 4pm the beach does get calmer. The hotel pool was nice with enough lounge chairs and umbrellas. We had the buffet breakfast and lunch or dinner. I would rate it very good with plenty of selection and good quality. The staff was excellent and helpful. Overall we had a nice stay at Iberostar Selection Marbella Coral."

Benalma Hotel Costa del Sol

"I had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Benalma. The staff are warm and helpful—especially Ionela at the restaurant and Carolina at the front desk. The location is lovely, although it is about an hour walk from the downtown section of Benalmadena. If you want strictly rest and relaxation, this the place. My room was beautiful and comfortable, but with a fantastic balcony and view of the sea. It’s about a mile from the train station so you can take the train directly from the airport. I recommend getting an uber from the train station to the hotel if you have a lot of luggage though because it’s a 15 minute walk downhill from the train station. I recommend having breakfast at the hotel. The buffet is decent. The Mediterranean restaurant is great too. I had the freshest salmon I’ve ever had in my life there. There is also a pizza pasta restaurant and supermarket a block away down the hill and a few other restaurants nearby within walking distance of you don’t get all inclusive at the hotel. The only cons are the elevators. They are very small and it takes a long time to get one that isn’t full or going on the right direction. All the guests I encountered complained about the elevators. All things considered, that was one minor annoyance compared to all the pros. I would definitely stay at the Benalma again!"

"We loved this hotel! The room was clean and spacious with a nice comfortable bed. Being on the fifth floor, we were very handy for the roof terrace. Breakfast and meals were plentiful and high quality. All staff were pleasant and very helpful. This hotel was aLao ideally situated for us too, right in the heart of everything and handy for the old town and all its shops and restaurants or equally handy for the beach! We will be booking to stay here again!"
