"We loved our stay at Pousada Encantos da Mata. The owners are very welcoming. The place is simple but very cute and clean. It’s surrounded by plants, flowers and hammocks. The breakfast is also great. When I stayed there I got to eat something different everyday. The location is within walking distance to the Main Street and the beaches. It was also nice that one of the owners spoke English fluently."

"This is probably one of the best hotels in Itacare. My suite was spacious and comfortable - the bed and pillows especially. Breakfast options are limited but still good for vegetarians (and abundant for meat/fish eaters). The beach access is very convenient, albeit the allocated beach space isn't that big. In high season it could feel cramped. Overall great, EXCEPT that I didnt have hot water in my room for the first two days of my stay despite reporting this to the reception desk a number of...
