"The overall experience was memorable and worthwhile. I like the closeness to nature and the overall serenity. The staff were responsive and friendly. The concierge in particular was very helpful. The only challenge was the kitchen staff. We ordered room service for dinner. It was very delayed. Breakfast was a bit of a challenge. Refills of meals for the breakfast buffet was very slow. "
"The hotel is lovely and modern. The rooms are big. The breakfast is terrible and it’s available for 1 person even if you book the room for two people. The breakfast was so poor, I mean 3 slice of bread, egg and a sachet of chocolate drink and milk. Another option is custard and Akara, I don’t think these breakfast options are suitable for someone with a longer duration of stay."
"The location that was put in the map is not where the hotel is, I had to travel for 3 hours from where they showed it was located to where it actually was because of the distances and traffic which was the reason why I was looking to book a hotel close to the airport. I called hotels.com to complain about it and they couldn’t not help me, Which I found disappointed! "Arrived and could not find reservation. Room booked was to include seperate sitting area, kitchenette and private balcony. It did't have any of these. Room was filthy. Advertised pool, but it was empty."

"Wheatbaker is a nice, thoughtful hotel. The room I stayed was clean and I was quite satisfied with the room
However, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations and so there was no access to the pool or gym. The front desk seems to have been moved to accommodate the reno going on.
Overall excellent time was had during my stay.
I will be back for sure and highly recommend."
"My stay was exceptional. I’ve always stayed at Lagos Continental but this time, it was spectacular. I went with my husband and 2 teenage kids for 8 nights. Our adjoining club rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very nice amenities. We only ever ate at Ekabo and the food was fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone at concierge, especially Samuel, helped to ensure we had our car hire set up and ready for us each day. He even went to the supermarket to get Gatorade for my daughter when she was ill. He assisted us with many sight seeing activities culminating in a wonderful yacht cruise on the Lagoon. He went above and beyond. They had a jazz band at the pool one night when we hanging out with our extended family. The next morning, there was an electric guitar player at the breakfast buffet at Ekabo. We appreciated all these many touches they added that made our stay extra special "
