"A disappointing apartment, certainly not worth over £110 per night. Very basic with unattractive furnishing. The advertised 'parking on site' is only 1 space for 2 apartments and was not available on our arrival - this should be made clear in the listing. There are cameras on the balcony and hot tub so we did not use either as it was so intrusive. When we arrived the bedsheets and towels smelt awful, they came to change but hardly any better. "What a stunning Apartment. Views spectacular, the apartment was lovely and spacious, fabulous balcony to have your breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening drinks...beds comfortable, pillows could be softer. Location was great, car would be useful, however we found the buses, and Bolts cheap and easy to get around. The restaurant/cafe in the block is great with good food, coffee and hospitality. Area around the Apartment is busy and can get loud, however we found most things closed around midnight...

While the outside of the building is not very attractive, the apartment itself was surprisingly nice — very clean, tidy, and well equipped. "Hotel was nice, very accurate with the photos provided for the room. I had a good time during my stay, a bit of trouble checking in, didn’t received the code to the door at noon and when I got to the hotel they told me check in was a 5pm when in Expedia it says at 3pm, I had asked beforehand to do an early check in and they helped me out with that, the room was clean and again, I had a good time during my stay."

"Great apartment overlooking st Paul’s bay. Lift up to 4th floor. Spacious and clean. Negative points: Electricity and water not included so will be taken from your deposit. This wasn’t included on the advert when we booked so was a surprise. The owners are sorting it out though We had 4 adults and a teenager. Whilst there are 8 beds I think it would be a real squash for 8 adults. 6 adults and 2 children would be the most I would suggest. Air con is only in the bedrooms. Lounge and kitchen...

"Stayed at the Marriott for 6 nights in July. Overall, a really excellent stay. There were a couple of things we were not happy with. 1st - the Wi-Fi barely worked the entire 6 days we were there. 2nd - the bathroom design is a little silly. The side of the bathroom wall has gaps which allow you to see into the room and all the noise travels from the bathroom into the room due to those gaps. Whoever designed it, clearly didn't understand bathroom privacy. The bathroom and shower however have their own doors, so not a total deal breaker, just a silly design. However, there were huge positives about the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming, especially with younger children. The breakfast spread was excellent with something for everyone. We had booked the M club lounge access room as part of our package and that came in so useful with snacks and drinks throughout the day. The kids also loved this access as deserts are also served. The concierge was very friendly and a special shout out to 'Yam' who works in the M lounge who looked after us. The pools are great for kids (they have an outdoor one) and an indoor one (limited access though for indoor), but the kids used both of them. The view from our hotel room overlooking the beach, church etc was amazing. We got around Malta by using 'Bolt' and you can pretty much reach anywhere within 30 mins as its not a massive island Bolt prices are very reasonable. Overall, an excellent stay and would recommend."

"Excellent hotel is a great location but away from the noise of Paceville (clubbing zone). Shopping center 5 mins walk away and plenty of supermarkets if you need anything. We had an issue with our room which was swiftly remedied. Great service recovery by the team. The team at the pool were fantastic particularly Romesh who couldn’t help us enough. Brilliant. Excellent buffet breakfast. We are a lt Palio’s which was fantastic z Point to note on the exec club if you are a young family - kids under 12 cannot enter the lounge when the snacks are out from 6-8pm. During the day the food/snacks are pretty disappointing. It’s help yourself to tea and coffees from a machine and some Nuts,snack bars and a few slices of cakes . Definite improvement needed on the Exec lounge offering. Overall great hotel I feel the best in Malta. We will return."

"The room was very big for 3 persons, we had 2 double beds. The room and all the common areas are very clean. Breakfast was good. Pool very small compared to the number of Rooms. There is no Restaurant or Bar in the Hotel so I suggest that a Vending Machine with some drinks and snacks will be available near the Breakfast Area."

"Excellent location near the harbour and Valletta is a short and inexpensive boat trip away. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was a buffet affair and was reasonable with a lot of choice. My only negative point is that the rooftop pool is also made available for public use so gets crowded very quickly. You have to be quick if you want a subbed…However there is an exclusive indoor pool with spa, steam room and sauna which we used a lot and enjoyed immensely. A very nice hotel which I would recommend."
