Amazing city and I loved it. Everybody should visit there
As a big city Izmir is a safe and friendly city to those compare in Europe. It has a very good cuisine mixed with greek and turkish dishes. There are lots and lots of types of mezes.. more than anywhere else in balkan and turkish cuisines altogether.
Life is corner is the worst hotel I used for tow nights it is unclean a lots of cockroaches and mosquitoes staff are rude and not friendly they charge you what you use in room like water and tea
We stay sun 20 not the 19th Oct
The city centre is friendly and vibrant. The ferries are cheap and excellent. Plenty of dining options on the harbour front. Lots of shopping is available. The only down side is the majority of the city outside the center is very run down
Izmir is simply beautiful. It has excellent transport links with the rest of turkey and close enough to slot of archeological sites and places of natural beauty to be a base while you explore this part of turkey. It was incredibly affordable too.
