Property was shabby and ill maintained. The air conditioner in my room was stuck on and could not be adjusted. We ended up unplugging it rather than freeze. The blind was closed and we were unable to open it. There were pry marks all around the door lock. Walls were thin and the loud neighbors made it difficult to sleep.

Mikayla, the daytime manager, was very rude to us. Constantly, knocking on our door and trying to kick us out even though we had paid. We were overcharged for our 2nd week and double charged for our last day. The housekeepers and night-time staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The way we were treated by Mikayla was uncalled for as well as, the way she treats her staff is terrible. This has really upset me because I truly love the location. Something truly needs to be done about the daytime management. Mikayla was very nasty toward my fiancé who is disabled & Autistic. The owners and staff are amazing, but manager Mikayla has made our stay the worst we have ever experienced.

Location is perfect. Room has nice. The only negative was the shower. It needs to be updated. Place was quiet. I am able to sleep in. Dunkin a few blocks away, in walking distance. Across the street plenty of shopping options. Staff was friendly.

If you like roaches, three inches of dust on your ceiling fan, stains, a door you cant open, no smoke detector, etc, then this is your place. I will, however say that the lady at the front desk was super nice.

Too scared to even park here

I pulled into the parking lot and left. I had my toddler with me and was too scared to leave my car to check in at the outdoor window. There were people drinking yelling and standing around everywhere. I didn’t expect a lounge to be attached to the motel.

Room was in very poor condtion, broken/non working lamps, sagging shower curtain rods that wouldn't hold curtain, so water gets all over bathroom, toilet never stops running. They lock out the thermostat, so no way to adjust the temp in the room. Seems hotel is owned by very cheap people. Need to invest in maintenance and upgrades. Sketchy neighborhood and run down hotel.

My recent stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Jacksonville, NC, was incredibly disappointing, despite the ongoing renovations. While I understand improvements are underway, significant issues with both management and the hotel's operational standards severely impacted my experience. For starters, the pool was closed during my visit, reportedly due to failing inspections or other regulatory hurdles. This was a major letdown, as it's an advertised amenity I expected to use. Compounding this, loud partying outside rooms continued late into the night, making it nearly impossible to get any restful sleep. The management team, particularly the owner, displayed highly unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. I personally witnessed instances of what I perceived as rude and potentially racist conduct from the owner. It also appeared that the hotel frequently fluctuated its prices without clear reason. The way staff were treated was also concerning; they seemed to be subjected to excessive micromanagement and disrespectful behavior, which likely contributes to a negative working environment. During my stay, my husband was publicly belittled in front of other guests and staff, which was completely unacceptable. Despite having stayed for two consecutive nights and attempting to extend for a third, I was abruptly told I couldn't prolong my stay and had to leave. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
