Scottish Inn, Jacksonville hotels

"Check in was at 4 but the room wasn't ready until 5pm. The room had an overwhelming smell of clearer when i 1st entered it. After the smell diminished, it was obvious to my son and I that someone had been smoking in the room. Both oders where in the room for the duration of our stay. "

"This was honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The staff were so kind and helpful (wish I got their names!) The shuttle service was great, the breakfast was great, and the room was nice. Didn't get a chance to use the pool but that looked nice as well. I would recommend!"

"The walls are thin and we heard the occupants next door barking dog the whole time. Our balcony's door was missing the seal around the frame which caused a 24/7 annoying loud humming from the outside wind. The beach access gate doesnot unlock and we had to walk all the way around the parking lot to get back in. asking the front desk to fix it didnot make a difference. Their parking is very limited and it took us 15 minutes circling around at night time waiting for an available parking spot."

"Extremely clean property including the rooms. Very safe and well lit. Nice pet area. "

"Breakfast was very minimal as far as options go. Elevator from parking underneath hotel was broken causing you to have to carry all luggage up the flights of stairs, main lobby elevator also broken for 1 night of stay. "

"Stay didn’t include breakfast. The room was okay as far as cleanliness, you can tell they did a quick clean instead of a thorough clean. One of knobs on the bathroom sink did not work for the hot water. Room did not include a microwave so we had to ask for one in which was a $20 charge per night. The refrigerator did not get cold enough to keep our food fresh. We called housekeeping numerous times to bring towels and washcloths. The beach view was nice though. "

"I loved my stay here .. big shout out to olivia, at the front desk, I want to say her name was. Extremely helpful and kind. A sweet personality with check-in and check out. Always a good stay. Definitely will be returning"
