The Oaks Hotel Paso Robles

"Lots of pros and cons with this place. First the pros. The location is excellent for a wine country excursion, right off the 101, minutes from downtown and a lot of wineries. The rooms were quiet and the wifi is excellent. As for the cons, the surrounding area is a bit sketchy. Saw a lot of homeless around the surrounding businesses. Also the property itself is a bit dated. There was a weird smell coming from our bathroom drains. They do have breakfast, but it's very very basic. Overall not a terrible place to stay for the price but it could use some updating."

"This is definitely a cute halfway point especially if you need a nice stop in Paso Robles. I love the hot tub even though it could use a little cleaning! I felt safe in my stay, it was very quiet and my room was perfectly clean. Hotel staff was more than welcoming and easy-going upon check-in. I will definitely be staying here again would recommend for all types of travelers just needing a quick night to rest"

"Beautiful place an easy walk from the downtown park and nearby local shopping. Tesla charging is only a couple blocks away. Friendly and helpful staff. Everything looked brand new. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"Nice staff. Older hotel with amazing water flow from shower and comfortable bed. The Hotel needs some updating, but for the money it is a good deal. Staff provided chocolate chip cookies and are helpful. Parking is easy, there is a Pool and Hot tub but did not use it. Room was clean but as I mentioned dated."
