"The hallways smelled like smoke and the bathrooms were old and run down. Shower and toilet chipped/stained. Definitely needs a remodel. Seemed clean enough, just not very well maintained."
"A three night stay..... Not sure their vacuum was working. Carpet was dirty around the bed and needs to be changed out. It was a weird room with several eyesores. I asked for a different room a couple of times and they just couldn't accommodate me. If you're staying more than one night you must inform desk that you want your room cleaned. Was not informed of that. Came back to an uncleaned room after a hard day and was not pleased. Was offered towels and washcloths and I emptied the trash cans myself.
The price I was quoted from Hotels.com was not honored. It wasn't a lot more but person at the desk didn't ever seem interested in pleasing his customer.
Have stayed here several times and am not pleased with new management . Not many other options in Bethany.
Breakfast was fine."
"As an economy hotel, it was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. And I loved having two sinks in the bathroom and vanity area. It made our trip much more easier to accommodate our needs.
To be aware that when you exit off of I 35 go to the east. Google wants to send you to the west. The easiest way to find it is Google the closest Subway restaurant. It is right behind that restaurant."
"The staff were all very helpful and friendly… HOWEVER…. The room appeared clean at first. The floors are not carpeted, which is ok until I had walked around the room barefoot a while. I sat down and looked at the bottoms of my feet and they were literally black with floor dirt/grime. It was disgusting! I had to take a shower before even thinking of getting into the bed. When I went into the bathroom and shut the door THERE WAS A USED BATH TOWEL HANGING ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR! These things made me nervous that anything else was properly cleaned and all linens were fresh. I fully checked the bed and bed linens before going to bed, and they seemed ok. The small frig and microwave were clean. I wore flip flops anytime my feet touched the floor after that and left as soon as I got up the next morning! They need to be more thorough and careful about cleaning and when you have bare floors sweeping is not enough! IT’S CALLED A MOP and floor cleaner!!!!! I will NEVER stay here again!"
"The creamer was right next to the machines. That was very hot. They were not cold at all.And should have been kept near a cooler or in ice.
You have to hold down the toilet handle in order for the toilets to flush.
The beds are extremely high hard for those who have artificial joints.Such as I to get up in there. And stay in bed.
The building itself is in major need of an overhaul of repairs. They kept the refrigerator unplugged and the air conditioner off instead of prepping the room for a visitors.
Then, put a sign on the mirror pretty. Please, please, please.Please.Please and plug all appliances.Turn off the air conditioner and lights before leaving.
Econo lodge would do a great service in regards to not putting their name on a building. That is not maintained and kept in high standards.
The gazebo looks like the wood is rotted and would be considered a hazard.
Although the swimming pool was covered for seasonal.I imagine it still is warm.It had looked like it was in disrepair and not safe.
I did have a cup of coffee. However, one was enough breakfast was not appealing"
