The good: great staff, clean rooms, access to good coffee in the cafe, beautiful fireplaces, outdoor fire pits, gorgeous woods surrounding the property. The meh: much of the facility is dated, no elevators if your staying on an upper floor which is challenging if you have heavy luggage or some sort of physical challenge, limited meal options. Overall, it was a nice, comfortable place to stay and convenient for our needs.
The property is a wonderful vibe if you are looking for an older, unique resort that looks like it belongs in a different time period. There are no elevators and the carpets could be updated but that would definitely affect the older feel. Staff is always welcoming as were the fireplaces going as well. The restaurant can be overwhelmingly loud, but you can go to the adjacent room. Outdoor fire pits are a wonderful after hours setting. Morning breakfast is available either in the restaurant or the small cafe next door. Definitely an annual vacation for our family.
Room was clean, toilet handle didn’t go up so u had to manually do it or the water would run, shower wasn’t draining well so I was standing in 3” of water the whole shower. There is a bistro for coffee inside, breakfast buffet that is about $20 a person. Staff was nice. Bed comfy. Pool was nice. Just wish it was a little better maintenance wise for the price of rooms.
This hotel was pleasant. The rooms are spacious, though the bed is firm and not the most comfortable. The pillows were excellent. Breakfast was acceptable but should have been included given its quality. Overall, this was a two to three star hotel with four-star staff and amenities, resulting in a three and a half to four star experience.
We came to use the outdoor pool and we surprised to find it had an outdoor bar and grill also! It felt more like a resort outside than we were expecting!
The resort property was very nice, clean and well kept. The amenities were excellent. The food at the restaurants was all delicious. The rooms themselves were spacious and cozy. Lots to do on the property if you have kids and for the price you can’t beat it. The golf course is one of the best courses I’ve seen and the indoor and outdoor pool were large and a lot of fun. We just had a very nice time while staying here. It definitely beats staying at a traditional hotel.
The room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and plenty of amenities for my kids and I to enjoy, particularly the swimming pool, hot tub, and indoor gym.
We had a great stay at Peek’n Peak Resort for our son’s wedding. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bar area was a fantastic space for the entire family to gather both the night before and after the wedding!
