"The temperature in the room was cool when we first arrived (thermostat at 65F) but it warmed to an agreeable temperature after we increased it. The liquid handsoap (lemongrass) was very pleasant. We were on the main floor, and so the exterior door and parking right outside were very convenient. Ate in the restaurant the first evening. Menu selection was somewhat limited with mostly high end but few middle priced items. I would have liked a steak sandwich; had to settle for a hamburger. Wife enjoyed her steak skewers. Both were very good. Building was clean and quiet. Location was convenient. We would stay here again."

"The staff were fantastic and very responsive. The rooms needed updating inside, worn carpet, not everything on the stove worked. The Cafe was only open a couple of times a day and I missed all of them. "

"This is a pet friendly property. I think it has a different feel when you stay in this lodge. This is without the regular amenities such as a TV or a microwave inside the room, but it brings you back to basics which is pure, simple, welcoming and really warm. You are not going to experience the usual stay in a regular hotel room but more off a cabin in the outdoors, "

"We have stayed at JPL a number of times a this is the first time we were disappointed. The construction I understand but the cleanliness of the pool and change room were horrible and when I mentioned to the staff they were rude and dismissive. I understand things get busy but we still paid a premium to stay and to have to clean up the shower cause of towel thrown everywhere and hair all over is a little over the top.. then to be told that if it bothered me maybe I could clean it up.. which I had was unexpected. "

"We have stayed at this location twice now and the staff are always wonderful. Our room was clean but we didn't get to use the amenities this time around. Our two notes: Beds are soft so if you like a firm bed be warned your back may hurt in the AM and recommend earplugs due to the loud vehicles outside the room if your not an early riser."
