Super 8 by Wyndham Hebron Lowell Area
2/10 Terrible
"Morning we went for the breakfast and the milk and the bread was finished was finished, and when we asked to replenish, the staff said that we don’t have any our breakfast experience was terrible"
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fair Oaks Farms
10/10 Excellent
"In all the places that I have ever traveled this is absolutely my favorite spot of all time.
It is simply fantastic in all aspects, food, scenery, education and hotel. I do not recall anything better anywhere that I have ever been.
Oh, Lunch in the newer cafeteria, meeh .....
I like lunch in the restaurant so much better ... Please consider bringing it back."
"I rented 2 Hotel rooms based off the pictures provided. I choose Hotels over Motels for more security for my mom (78).
We were booked into a run down motel off the hotel property. This is a golfer’s delight, as when the rounds were over, the party was in the parking lot, on both sides of us. Grills, corn hole, music, fireworks and 20+ drunk men celebrating their weekend…very late into the night.
Which is cool, if that’s what I had booked. This place is gross. No phone to contact front desk, no amenities, no maid service. There were 3 tiny bottles of shampoo. No extra towels. The shower is from a men’s locker room. Thankfully I had sandals with me to wear. Spiders running about through the beat up door. No blankets, just the top comforter. My mom’s white socks are black from the floor.
The pool over at the actual hotel is under construction.
The difference between the pictures advertised and where we stayed is absolutely fraudulent.
Why didn’t we leave ? It was Purdue graduation weekend and Indy 500 time trials. The choices were slim to none.
I don’t understand how this place is getting away with this. It’s a very bad representation of Indiana Beach, & It’s not even close to the park.
This review is just the beginning of my appeals for this trip. I have pictures as I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to shout “Punk’d!!! “."
"This place is in our top 3 of stays!!! The staff is so wonderful and friendly and its so peaceful and beautiful here. We ended up here by accident...and we now will make it a regular stay. Everything is clean, comfortable and the grounds are relaxing and well kept. We especially enjoyed the gazebo and the piano i was able to play. A shout out to Aaron and his excellent hospitality. Highly recommend!"
"We requested and stayed in a handicap accessible room. Many of the features were fine. However, the lighting needs to be updated. There should be NIGHT LIGHTS in the bathroom and the main room. We brought one on our own, and unfortunately forgot to take it home with us. But the hotel needs to figure out a solution for people seeing their way to the bathroom during the night, without turning on strong lights (which wake a person up). And then is the bathroom, to find a person's way about without the full strong lights that are the only alternative.
There could also be a comfortable chair with hand rails. There was a desk chair that should be replaced because it doesn't help a person to sit or stand with the help of side arms.
Lastly, there was no directory in the room for instructions on how to use the TV, how to find certain channels, or how to arrange for a wake up call.
It would be nice to hear back once these problems are addressed at this Valparaiso Holiday Inn Express. Otherwise, this is a nice place to stay."
"Pre-trip communication regarding check-in information was excellent, and the check-in process ended up being flawless. The staff, specifically Amy, was outstanding; professional, well-organized, accessible, and friendly. Will definitely be back next year!"
