"Elevators were broken forcing us to walk around the outside of the building to reach our rooms. Rooms were outdated, the television was in need of replacement. Overall the establishment was overpriced for what we received."
"The rooms were not clean. There was trash on the floor and hair in the shower. The bathroom door was dirty. I waited at the front desk for almost 15 minutes before there was someone at the front desk. When informed of the wait, he merely said nothing and began to check me in. "
"Booked it because they advertised a pool and hot tub. Both were inoperative and I later found out they had been closed for about a month. That’s just unsatisfactory and cheap on their part! Also, if they’re going to advertise a pool and hot tub, then when those amenities are broken they should have the good customer service sense to take them off the internet so customers can pick a hotel that has what they want. Also our bathroom had dirty walls. At breakfast I watched an elderly customer struggling with getting coffee and the guy behind the desk kept telling him how to do it instead of coming out to help, so I went over and helped him. The guy behind the counter just appeared totally indignant that the poor guy couldn’t understand him."
"You get what you pay for, close to dollar tree, many restaurants and grocery store. At one point hot water did not work in shower. Hotel room was cleaned up before my arrival but it still have an unclean feel to it. It was convenient for last minute inexpensive stay, will not want to experience again."
"Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing from start to finish. We arrived approximately 2 to 3 hours after the listed earliest check in time, yet our reserved room was still unavailable. Instead of honoring the room we booked, we were placed into a lesser room while still being charged the same rate. No discount, refund, or accommodation was offered for the inconvenience, which was frustrating considering we had planned our arrival around the hotel’s stated check in time.
Once we were in the room, another major issue became apparent: there was no reliable hot or even warm water during our stay. After long days out, not being able to take a proper shower was extremely inconvenient and made the stay far less comfortable than expected.
We also specifically requested that housekeeping not service our room and placed a Do Not Disturb sign on the door before leaving. When we returned, the Do Not Disturb sign was still hanging on the door, but housekeeping had entered and cleaned the room anyway, completely disregarding both our verbal request and the clearly displayed sign. This felt like a serious violation of privacy and made us uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay.
Overall, the experience lacked the basic level of service, communication, and respect for guest requests that we expect when staying at a hotel. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we would not choose to stay here again."
