"I desired to stay here, as my employment takes me through this area and I did not wish to travel back home that night. No one was available at any of the phone numbers online or in person, posted on the office. I made an online reservation and showed up, expecting to receive a room. I love to support local small businesses, and this motel seemed charming. Very unfortunately, no one was available to provide any service. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews at all, but as other people will likely be traveling through the area like me, and there are limited overnight stay options, it is good to know which places are dependable and which are not."
"They had bugs. The staff did not seem qualified. The pictures of this hotel is not a fair representation of accuracy. Overpriced. The staff were very friendly though."
"Unfortunately not what I had expected after viewing on Expedia. The rooms and buildings are very dated, I found dead insects in room, numerous cigarette holes in bed linens, and thin walls. Frankly it was a seedy place!"
"Used condoms on the ground in the parking area. The room had a previous leak from the ceiling, but the nasty residue was still on the floor underneath. The toilet handle was broken with visible dirt that should have been wiped clean. The light switch had flitth on and around it. The curtains had a massive stain on it. The room smelled like musty mildew and one of the nearby rooms had a smoke detector chipping all night long. There was no microwave as the pictures suggested, we did have a mini fridge Breakfast was just weird and uncomfortable. The breakfast room was a locked room that you had to be let in instead of an open area down the walkway alongside the rooms. The A/C was not working and the room was very warm. There were plain bagels but nothing to put on them, cereal but no milk, there was waffle mix and maker with sugar syrup, there was a half pitcher of orange juice and canister of coffee. It would have been nice to have a sugar-free syrup and access to water. This establishment did not speak quality."
"The staff were friendly and helpful. The room I was assigned had problems with the air and it was extremely warm. I had to request a fan from
the front desk which helped some but, it was still uncomfortable. Although conveniently located downtown the dining options are very limited on Sunday with majority of the restaurants within walking distance are closed as well as the hotel’s rooftop bar."
