The views are to die for! Your so close to Manhattan you can almost reach out and touch the skyline. The Statue of Liberty is also visible from the hotel.

The restaurant staff was wonderful. The bed/mattress was horrible, especially for a hotel of this rating. It was lopsided and really worn down on the side. All night, I kept rolling into it, like a ditch. Terrible nights sleep.

We had a 2 day stay here and we are beyond satisfied with our stay. The staff is very friendly, especially the valet parking staff! They knew instantly when seeing us what car they needed to go grab. We will definitely be staying here again soon!

Fast & easy booking. Great location and so happy the clerk at the hotel upgraded us to a water view. We arrived late and it was nice to see the city all lit up across the river.

Loved everything about this hotel! The path subway is next to the hotel. Literally a 5 train ride into New York City! I will definitely be back

The reviews for this hotel are very accurate in a good and bad way. Our experience here for 4 nights was fine. Would I have appreciated a higher rated hotel? Of course! But we were on a budget and the location for this place was incredible! Unbeatable in Jersey, the NYC skyline seen from your room!? Fantastic! Thats why I booked it even after reading the reviews about it being outdated and kinda dirty. Yes, we did switch rooms when we got our first one because there were hand prints on the bedframes from people doing you know what in the beds. There was a gross poop looking stain on the wall and the beds looked frumpy. The front desk was very quick to get us another room and we even got to check in early! The staff were friendly and took our request seriously. Overall, would not stay there again but we got what we paid for and it was in a nice, quiet part of town with great coffee shops and restaurants near by and the subway is next door!

Great views of Manhattan skyline. A block from Path station. This hotel is at a very convenient location for visitors of Jersey Coty as well as Manhattan.

Great location with fantastic views and cozy rooms. One issue I had was that they will not provide a reasonable solution if you have a car. Valet rushed me to check in giving me 15 minutes of free parking and warned me that I will be charged for 3 hours if I take too long. If you have a car, I would not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very clean and was in an excellent location for walking, dining out and taking the path train. I am giving it only 4 stars because the bed and pillows were awful, but that is my only complaint. I will definitely visit again.

Beautiful view as far as location making it easy to travel to and from NYC and breakfast was great! My only concern was parking. The website lists parking as $26/night but when we arrived the parking that was for $26/night required you to leave your car parked during your entire stay. Parking ended up being $52/night which was valet services and allowed us to come and go as we pleased and $160 was collected from me right upfront and I ran into several issues with prepaying for my parking for 3 nights in advance and was constantly asked to pay each time I needed valet services. The carpet, base boards of the beds, and couch was not very clean. Also there was a marathon even that took place while my family and I stayed on the property and all the streets were blocked off for hours and we were not informed in advance to prepared. We have a religious assembly to attend for worship in Jornal Square which was only a few miles and we ended up being 3hrs late and I was highly disappointed.

Over all it was ok. Here are what I didn’t like: - uncomfortable pillows - very slow service when you call - horrible valet service. They park your car very far. It is not available right away. You have to call an hour before you need it. Also there was a marathon and they didn’t tell me before I chose their service that cars can’t get out. So we stuck in the hotel from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm waiting for our cars after checking out

Wonderful location for Jersey City and to explore Manhattan. Housekeeping was so thoughtful. She asked us if we needed anything when we passed her in the hallway. We just requested more coffee and setups, which she didn’t have. When we returned later, she had left some hanging on our door knob.
