"It was an old Econo Lodge that was clean and well maintained. I was not looking for a 5 star hotel, I was looking for a clean reasonably priced place to stay for a couple nights that was within an easy distance to a meeting in Zanesville, Ohio. The manager/owner, Neil, was very nice and greeted me each morning by my first name. I was so pleased with my stay that I've booked another two night stay for the following weekend as I have another meeting at the same place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Being that this Red Roof Inn is somewhat of a budget hotel, it is fine. You can tell some effort has been made recently to spruce it up. There is some new flooring, fresh paint, and newer furnishings. It is fairly clean and has good water pressure and everything you'd hope for. It just has some small issues you have to be ok with. The locks on the outside doors from the parking lot to the hallways are busted. The bedframes kind of sound like you're laying down on top of a big metal filing cabinet and the beds are fairly rigid. And there's a bar just behind the lobby that, at least on the night I stayed, was packed with a big crowd and you could hear the music and the people late into the night from my room (which faced the interior of the complex). My parents (whose room faced the exterior) could not hear it. Altogether it was a perfectly pleasant stay for us, but maybe not for everyone."

"The hotel was very clean, including the room. Staff was very professional and helpful. Room was quiet and very comfortable. Couple issues- the toilet tank was filling up around every 30 seconds. Not a big deal - just kept the door closed. The ice machine on the second floor wasn’t working. Breakfast was thin, but it could have been because the hotel was not busy. All in all though a very nice stay"
