"Shandankan Inn is a wonderful place to stay, tucked away in picturesque setting, fantastic facilities, inviting decor , we had a beautiful room. The only downside we only stayed 2 nights, would have loved to stay longer. What made the stay all the more memorable for us was the warm and welcoming staff especially Miranda who gave us some fantastic recommendations of places to visit in the area. I dont normally write reviews but we had such a great stay i wanted to let others know about our experience."

"This was a beautiful hotel location. The view out my window was the Catskill mountains. My room was spotless as well as the whole hotel inside and out. The breakfast was amazing and Loved how you could sit on the back deck overlooking the mountains while eating breakfast. I will definitely return to this hotel."

"What a pleasant surprise. The owner/staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet with a small fridge, microwave, etc. The bed was extremely comfortable; I had one of my best night's sleep in a long time. Although I did not get a chance to use the pool, I plan to the next time that I stay here (and there will be a second stay). I was only able to stay for one night but hope to stay longer the next time. "

"Got a free upgrade. Quiet property in the heart of the Catskills. Woke up to the sound of birds and the Esopus Creek. Close to trailheads for many of the Catskill 35’ers. Would absolutely recommend to hikers looking for a home base for a few days. "
