we had a wonderful two day break.... I found the bedroom to be a bit disappointing... no where to put valuables very little wardrobe space even if it was for two days... the shower in the bathroom was a death trap...plastic floor with no where to hold onto...

Lovely place - really excellent meal and great value for money - outside shower rooms were lovely too. Only suggestion would be to put a mosquito pad in the rooms - aerosol was provided but there was a lot of mosquitoes. In general a lovely place with a very good chef.

What a lovely weekend getaway just one hour from Johannesburg. We felt totally pampered and relaxed. The food was amazing and the staff were absolutely outstanding!

It was OK at the reduced rate. I would certainly not pay the full rate. The place is a bit dated. Good food. Pleasant but not 5 star service.

The dinner menu was incredible - fine dining at its best. The service was excellent and all the staff are very friendly. It was my 4th anniversary and I requested a romantic turndown with truffles which I paid R85 for. The result was a plate of truffles ontop of the mini bar. No romance what so ever. I raised this when I checked out and no comment was made. I felt like rose petals , candles could have gone a long way and would not pay the R85 again for the experience as there was none.
