As explained during your stay, there is water outages in the city which is beyond our control. We will not be taking any further bookings until the situation has been resolved. This was a terrible experience! There was no water in the tap or shower. Imagine flying 16 hours non-stop into Joburg only to lodge into a hotel without water. Also, there was no one at the reception to receive guests.
I was very dissatisfied with my experience. Never again!

We gladly refunded you the full amount of 2 night stay as a gesture and to apologize for your experience. Rand Club is not a hotel. It is a private Members Club hence does not operate as a normal hotel. We reached out to inquire of your arrival time and never got a response as we wanted to be ready for you when you arrive as our reception is not a 24hr reception.It is unfortunate you had such an experience but this is not our daily experience.Kind regards,Rand Club Suites.

The Rand Club was a great find. Perfect and safe location downtown Joburg, wonderful staff, beautiful room and settings, good restaurant, powerful internet. We will definitely stay there again.
