Great Location, Disappointing Product

The proximity to Sandton City is great but the rooms appeared tacky in terms of the partion board used and the linen was visibly worn out. The bed base was also larger than the mattress. TV channels could be better arranged.

Great stay but don't order breakfast.

Overall my stay was very relaxed and comfortable. The room was clean and great location. Value for money. However, I ordered room service. I had French toast served with a side salad which was two slices of bread and two slices of cucumber (that was the side salad) for R150. I thought it was way over priced and has got to be reviewed. One cannot pay R150 for 2 slices of bread. That is beyond shocking.

Was more than adequate for a one night place to stay on a very busy trip. As usual not enough plug points for electronic stuff.

Last minute, late check in & they were very accommodating. The room was heated & ready, even though late in the evening. Bed was 2 x 3/4 pushed together, making an unideal gap in the middle. Room could have a hair dryer. Overall a good stay.

lovely home away from home

It was a lovely home away from home. Not the fanciest place in the world, but was in a convenient location, great service, extremely neat, clean and spacious. The decor and appliances could do with some updating but nothing too serious. I have also forgotten my watch on the bedside table (big mistake on my part)... lets see whether it will be returned swiftly :) I will definitely be staying there again.

The rooms are nicely appointed and clean.

I booked for two nights. When I arrived they only had me booked for one. Once that was sorted, I was shown the room. When I left after first night, I left sleeper shorts on the bed. I arrived late that evening to find the room unlocked, the shorts gone. The guy on late duty found out that the maid who cleaned the room did not know that I was staying 2 nights, took the shorts and washed them but did not bring them back. The shower the next morning was ice cold for the first 2-3 minutes then gradually warmed up. Had I left valuables in the room they too could have disappeared as the room was unlocked.
