I was contacted by the hotel regarding water problem that the hotel had to change to another room one day before checked in. I was informed that the room will be about the same as the one that I booked. Unfortunately, when I checked in, the room given was downgraded. Hot water for shower was also not available. I had to shower cold water at 5.00 am. I strictly mentioned non-smoking room since I am allergic to the smell. Unfortunately when I entered the room which was sprayed with the air freshener, I can still smell the cigarette and my throat immediately sore from the cigarette smell. I was told there was no room available to change. I also informed the receptionist during check in that I will be checking out as late as 6.15 a.m. Yet I had to wait till 6.30 am to checked out. The receptionist told me that nobody was on duty between 6 am to 6.30 am. That was the break time for receptionist. Because of this, I was late to perform my duty and affected my job.
