I love Jokkmokk. This town is one of my favorite places and hotel Akerlund is a wonderful historical building. Simple, quiet and safe.

The staff of the hotel was courteous and the property itself was fine. But they gave me a room like a broom closet. Small and dark. And next to the actual broom closet, right on the main corridor to other rooms, so noisy as well. I asked to change rooms immediately upon seeing mine but they refused. Total rip off. I will never return as other options in Jokkmokk are much better and some are also cheaper.

Nice hotel in a rural town
The hotel was well situated in town. We were extremely pleased with the helpfulness of the staff. When we checked in, we were welcomed to a complimentary light dinner at the restaurant. The room was small, but had everything we needed. I wish there was additional sound proofing in the rooms, as we could easily hear every conversation in the neighboring room. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable. They also offered a breakfast, which was small but tasty.

Nice and cozy small hotel with good service. Looks like it was newly renovated. Had a one night stay, and we are very pleased.

Positive things first: Nice staff, clean room and excellent breakfast. I am still only giving 2 ovarall stars because I hardly got any sleep. There was music on all night and I made the mistake of being patient. I thought it must be from another guest who does not care. Finally, at 6 am I went to look for where the noise is coming from ... It was from a speaker at reception that was exactly beneath our room. They had music on all night for no reason. The other thing that really put me off was the outside of the hotel. I know, the inside is more important but from the outside the place looks like it will soon fall apart. So, the first impression is poor and for the price they want per night, I would expect a place like this to invest also in the exterior. Last but not least, for the rate I would say the room was on the small side.

Forferdelig frokost servert i kjøleskapet
Innsjekking, rom og renhold var vi fornøyd med. Men frokosten trekker ned hele oppholdet.Frokosten var lagt i kjøleskapet. Den var forferdelig . Kjøttpålegget og falukorven var grå i fargen og luktet surt. Osten og frukten hadde trukket til seg lukta. Brødet luktet gammelt. Når pålegget var uspiselig så savnet vi syltetøy til rundstykkene vi fant i en brødboks ved kjøleskapet. Men det fantes ikke. Rommet kostet nesten 1900 kr med frokost. Dette er suitepris på Scandic hoteller og der er det orntlig frokostbuffet. Vi håper på refusjon eller evnt et gratis opphold da vi ofte reiser i området. Ellers blir vi å velge andre hotell.

Die Unterkunft war OK. Wir haben diese früher bereits 2 Mal gebucht, zu unserer vollen Zufriedenheit. Dieses Mal waren wir nicht gleich zufrieden: Der Empfang war unpersönlich und kühl. Die an sich schöne Lobby war teilweise vollgestellt mit Wäschebehältern - und bei den letzten Buchungen war ein Abendessen inbegriffen, dieses Mal bei gleichem Preis nicht mehr. Für uns hat deshalb das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr gestimmt.

Die Zimmer sind funktional eingerichtet und nicht zu groß. Das Bad ist klein, die Toilette recht nah am Waschbecken. Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Zimmer sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück hat uns gut gefallen. Es war reichhaltig und lecker.
