"I stay here almost every time I’m in Surfside. This isn’t a place for someone wanting fancy accommodations but if you’re wanting a place on/near the beach at an affordable price this place is great. Definitely could use some updating and overall maintenance but the rooms are clean and never seen bugs present in the room. One minute walk to the beach and the vehicle entrance is a block away."

"Floors in room were so filthy our toddler’s feet were black after walking on them for just a few minutes; we ended up cleaning them ourselves due to not trusting that staff would actually clean them if we asked. (The towel picture is the floor mat we used to dry the floor after using swiffer pads we bought to surface clean.) There was also hair all over the shower walls indicating the surfaces were not cleaned after the last guest left. Upon leaving, we stripped the beds of their linens and discovered most of the pillows were covered in mold, as well as one of the mattress protectors. Staff was made aware of the bedding situation but did not seem to care and was not apologetic about the situation."

"I have a little screwed perspective. I picked this property because I thought it was part of Wydahm, therefore a better quality hotel and having a continental breakfast available. This was a motel. There was info saying this is independently owned and operated. They locked the lobby at night (safety issues in the area???) I just didn't feel super safe and my family was irritated at me for picking it. And no real breakfast. Thankfully we got in around 10:30pm, just slept, and got up and went to the beach after. Didn't stay long. Pillows were squares... like they were old decorative pillows. Curtains were ripped at the top, light shown through in the morning. Room kind of smelled musty. Just not up to what I am used to."
