"The place looked good when we arrived but took a fall from grace when we went to dinner, steak was on the menu but all three of us could not even cut it with a steak knife and the amount of people sending the steak back agreed with us it really put us off and the breakfast was not much better when we told the staff they were not interested overall disappointed"

"This is an ultimate holiday. The lodge is extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and an absolute eye candy !! Food is of high quality and very well presented. Staff are amazing. Pleasant, attentive and very quick to respond. The Game drives are very well planned. We were lucky to have Cameron as our guide and driver and Muzi as our spotter. They work in close unison. Cameron is an encyclopaedia and takes time to explain you everything. They also treat you very well with the Amarula coffee and drinks in the bush 😄. We had many incredible sightings. This is a truly five star experience."

"The good: staff was very friendly and kind and the reserve has a beautiful view over the valley below. They went out of there way to be helpful. The game vehicles were comfortable and we appreciated having a storage locker between the seats. Anzel was super kind and really tried hard. We liked the little surprises that they had throughout our stay. The bad: hot water in the shower was good for 2-3 minutes and then went cold. Elephants are on other side of the reserve and are too far to reach on a typical drive. The food was not to our taste, we would have preferred a grilled steak or chicken option versus pork belly and ox tail. We have been to several game reserves and while everything was pleasant, we preferred the overall experience at the other reserves."
