Amazing customer service, the rooms were spotless and super quiet. The staff made us feel right at home even though we were over 1400 kms away! I highly recommend this quiet spot.
Recently updated. Bathtub plug was broken, so couldn't use bath. No breakfast at the lodge, only one small place further down the road offered breakfast. There was a small microwave and fridge in room.
Your enjoyment here sadly depends a lot on your neighbours. We spent two nights here and both times our neighbours were loud and oblivious, and both nights I couldn't fall asleep because of their snoring. However if we were alone or with quieter people I'm sure it would have been much more restorative. The property is simple but clean and well kept. It is expensive compared to other B&Bs and guesthouses in the area in terms of what you get for your dollar, but I would visit here on the off season again.
The staff were rather shy at first which throws me off when it comes to customer service, but they were sweet enough to indulge me in conversation and they proved to be all truly wonderful!
