"The room and entire facility were pretty great. The only things that were a bit bothersome in the room were the lights, air conditioning, and lack of shower products. The bathroom was only at about 30% so I took a light bulb from a lamp so we could see ourselves in the bathroom. The light above the desk was also minimal so I moved another lamp onto the desk so I could see for work. Very clean, great staff and was the hotel very very peaceful!! We enjoyed the Friday night fireworks right from our balcony, with love, laughter and cocktails!! "This was our second time staying at the Aston Waikiki Sunset. Our first time was great. This time we had my handicapped mother. We called the hotel beforehand to request a toilet seat extender and a shower chair. It took one and a half days for them to bring these items after I called housekeeping and the front desk repeatedly. They seemed not to care. We will not be staying here again."

"very nice and always helpful staff. Very clean and quiet. There is a pool and BBQ area, nice landscaping, fishponds.. Suites are updated, beds comfy. Nice balcony with table and chairs. We also had a small kitchen, which was perfect. Just behind the complex is the Ala Wai Canal and Boulevard- which is very walkable/ perfect for jogging..and within a 2 km walk from Hotel is the Library, a Safeway Store and the famous Leonard's Bakery. "

"I liked the location. The hotel was pretty average, not mind blowing. It was clean although something in the bathroom smelled bad, never figured out what it was. Overall, just an average hotel experience. There’s a lot included for the resort fee that I wish they went over with me at check in. I would have joined a yoga class or borrowed a go pro, which I later found out about on my last day."

"It was a great stay. I do think for what we paid the rooms need an update in Diamond head. It has nice pools. Property had many stores to shop from. The luau was moved indoors and we didn’t really like it that way, outdoors is much better. In all the stay was good it just needs to be remodeled in the Diamond head tower. "
