Kona Bali Kai
The bathroom was clearly not cleaned well. The shower, floor and toilet stank of pee that could be smelled all the way to the bedroom. The floor was filthy and my feet turned black after walking around barefoot for 2 minutes. They need to clean the units.

Kona Tiki Hotel
This is an old school, basic motel with a good location (.5 miles south of Kona) and right on the water. It’s low staff interaction with self check-in and no housekeeping per se. i would not want to stay here in the summer as there is no a/c. We were on the first floor so sleeping with the windows ...
