It pays to buy the best!

Outstanding hotel in a beautiful location with wonderful staff! Great experience top to bottom. Our appreciation increased even more with our next stay at one of the most expensive hotels on Kauai - that hotel fell far short of our experience at the Four Seasons!

Everything was wonderful, right from their welcome to the rooms to the amenities. Loved the kings pond pool. They had a lovely note and a pastr chocolate pastry for my wife because I had mentioned that she was starting a new job. Just wonderful attention to detail.

Room could use some renovation, bed end board was sharp and could easily run into and get injured. There was a opening in the wall in the closet room which was not closed visibly full of dust inside, reported to the house keeper and front desk, they never sent anyone to do anything about it. House keeping knocked on the door when we had do not disturb sign on and insisted to come in this was in the evening when we were packing to leave next morning. We have option to get turn in service or not by putting sign out. Room service came knocking on the door to pick up the tray when we did not call for one yet, we were still eating the breakfast. We did not feel safe to leave anything in the safe after first day when it did not operate and they sent a security to open it, how ever that security asked us what we keep inside the box, we're seniors. Persons at the front desk and the conceirge were not that much friendly and welcoming. For the amount the hotel charge, we were surprised how it changed when we stayed there once before. Ropm service food was excellent. Restaurant Elu was unfriendly and food is not that great.
