"Room a bit smelly! Had to sleep with the window opened.
Breakfast is quite controlled. Front desk will issue a voucher early in the morning and there 1-2 guys custodian who enters the room. No eggs, but everything else was there. Good oatmeal!"
"The room was very spacious and the views were outstanding. As others have noted, it’s an older hotel and rooms are dated but wouldn’t need much to update the rooms"

"We were initially put into their worst room im sure. It had torn curtains, dirty floors, workmen tools in the bathroom and wood dust even on the toilet seat, dusty shoe prints on the seat bench, peeled desk-chair, dried spill marks on furniture, gum on sofa... it was unbelievable! I was so upset. My husband spoke with them and they instantly apologized and gave us a very clean room with none of the problems. I felt very disrespected and profiled (I am African-Canadian). The night auditor gave us breakfast vouchers; breakfast was great (quick and delicious). I hope noone ever gets put into that horrible room again!!"
"Howard Johnson’s , I thought was a hotel. It really has the feel of a motel.
Small lobby , only 2 floors.
No elevators. Stairs only.
Definitely needs updating.
The beds were very comfortable.
Bedding and pillows were good and lots of towels provided.
Supposed to be free wifi , I’ve never been to a hotel/motel that required you to sign up with Wyndham for emails, and or points, before you could get access to the “free” wifi.
Breakfast was the same typical continental breakfast , cereal, boiled eggs, bagels, waffle maker.
Coffee and tea provided 24/7."
"Room well equipped for both short and long term stays with large fridge, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher. Room was clean. We enjoyed the pool, water was clear and refreshing and hot tub was perfect. Used it several times. Breakfast was also a hit, lots of choices. Would recommend."
"I love staying here. The tall ceilings make the place feel so grand, the high windows make the curtains a little tricky to close at times though. But I’ll stay here every time I’m in town. Love the staff and service. "
