" Our stay was for 4 nights & overall our stay was good. Night 1 & 2 the centrally controlled balcony light was turned off by 10pm. Night 3 it wasn’t turned off until 3am. Night 4, I called reception at midnight & asked for the light to be turned off. Was told ‘Yes’. Never happened, it went off at 3am. The volume was showing maximum however you could barely hear it, especially with the live music from the BSB stage next to the hotel. "Excellent hotel, staff and location. Only negative, parking was free but on departure we were charged by the car park attendant who said it wasn’t included. We have requested a refund on this. This did slightly disappoint was was a fabulous stay otherwise."

"A VERY unique and comfortable one night stay before we headed onto the 3 day orangutan jungle cruise. This place was personally built like a robinson caruso-like habitat. Room was clean, comfortable, a.c., quiet (aside from local mosque prayer broadcast), and the clientele were interesting world travelers. Great home made Meals were available as well upon request.
