I absolutely loved staying here. It’s exactly what you’d imagine a traditional, family-run Greek place to be. The hosts were so lovely and nothing was ever too much trouble. They gave me such a warm welcome when I arrived, and when I left saw me off like I was one of the family.
My deluxe two-bed studio was spacious and had everything I needed. A couple of the kitchen appliances are a bit old now, but they all worked fine and didn’t take away from the charm of the place at all.
The view from my terrace was incredible. Looking out over the sea to Telendos every day was a real highlight, and the sunsets of an evening was just stunning.
The only thing I’d mention is that it’s at the top of a pretty steep road. I have breathing issues, so I found it hard going, but that’s something I should have paid more attention to before I booked.
There’s also a lovely little beach just a few minutes away that’s mostly used by locals. You can hire a sunbed for a reasonable price or just throw your towel down and enjoy the peace and quiet. Then perhaps grab some food at the beach Taverna before heading back.
Even with the hill, I’d happily stay here again. If you’re looking for a place with real Greek charm, amazing views and the friendliest hosts, I wouldn’t think twice about recommending it.
