"This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. "For the amount paid, I was pretty disappointed. It was a bad location to have as our base in Tsuruga and it was very dated. The amenities all needed payment if you wanted to use them, even the gym! The staff were all kind. I think there are better options for a stay in Tsuruga."
