"This place is a welcome sanctuary from the hustle a bustle of Kampot. We did some day trips to kep markets and Kampot pepper farm which were easily organised by the hotel. They also easily organise a scooter for the day for us to visit bakor mountain. The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from Kampot town, however is was easy to organise for the hotel to drop you in to town and get a grab tuk tuk for about $2. "Resort is not completely finished yet, but really clean and spacious. The restaurant was absolutely delicious. There were a lot of facilities on the resort you can use for free. We would recommend staying here."

"On the edge of national forest so monkey's come down now and then beautiful swim area. They are bungalows so if your looking for luxury maybe not the place but clean, cozy ,quiet , friendly close to market not far from beach this is the place 2nd time there will be a lot more i hope"

"Our 3-night stay at Hotel Old Cinema was one of the highlights of our trip around Cambodia. The boutique accommodation, with its sublime art deco decor, features well-appointed suites, superb pool area and luxe bar. The staff are fantastic, and breakfasts feel like a special occasion. Step out of the lobby onto the footpath and you are in amongst the action of Kampot. A wonderful stay that comes with our highest recommendation."

"We spent 2 nights at the resort, and it truly felt like “home away from home”. All staff are wonderful and had been super helpful. We felt warm and welcomed throughout our stay. We love how clean the resort is and how the staff treated us. Love it and very appreciative for the service and made us felt comfortable, enjoyable, and relax during our stay. My kids love the pool very much. Thank you, Kampot Sweet Boutique, for making our stay memorable. Furthermore, we glad we found you."

"The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "

"This hotel had all the basic stuff you needed, and was clean, but something was just off about it. I am not sure about the atmosphere and perhaps because my sliding door wouldn't close all the way and I needed a staff to close it EVERY TIME but it was just OK. There was a big family party on the second night we stayed so we did have to listen to people howling (singing)until quite late. It was a but secluded and hard to get to at night time with all the surrounding ditches. "
